Edward's Enterprises' labor rates for water damage renovation projects:

Start at $95* an hour Per Employee, 3 Hour Minimum.

Rates listed above are the usual check or cash rates per hour for labor charged to our customers for repairing & remodeling after a water or fire damage clean up project or a vehicle property damage incident (not including dump disposal fees or materials).

Larger scopes of renovation work will normally need an onsite consultation before starting any work & after the water, fire & smoke clean up is completed. This way we can take measurements, photographs, & prepare a recommended remodel plan.

Remodel Renovation Subfloor Replaced - RemodelingWe charge for all time allotted to a customer's project, including purchasing & delivering materials, or offsite work like painting lumber prior to an installation, or for the time to dispose of debris. This allows us to take on smaller projects for our insurance claim customers, rather than only lump sum projects with much higher minimums to show up.

Thanks to our processing partner PayPal, we do accept most major credit & debit cards now! Rates are slightly higher, please call our office for all of the details.

The guys were very cordial & respectful. Whenever I changed my mind (and I did, plenty) about the placement of a certain decoration, they didn't show any signs of tiring annoyance. It was quite amazing to just stand there & ask where I wanted things to be placed without worrying about working out in the cold. I have saved your number & will definitely be calling again next year!!

    Take a lot of photos!

This is easy in documenting the damage in detail & also showing your efforts to reduce the loss. The insurance adjuster will take plenty of pictures as well & put together with your photos, you will have a more complete story. The more detailed & descriptive you can be, backing those photos with all the rightful evidence you have, the better it can suit your argument.

Photos make a strong case for the damage done should there be any dispute regarding the condition of items before the damage. Take as many photos as you can! No detail is too small! You can also zoom in on certain spots, if you've got a nice little iPhone, or even a fancy camera, that can do this. Why not adjust your lighting & Isotope settings, so that certain parts you'll be shooting can show off & be seen more clearly? Play with those camera features like a real pro.

Test both the outdoor & indoor light fixture arrangements & settings, not to mention features, as well…some are even hidden. Adjust your Isotope display as well. The “right photo” can be a million different shots.

    Water Damage Issues?
Water damage remains one of the most destructive forms of assailants that can plague even the best of properties. Floods, HVAC leaks, weak roofs, or something else, it's a serious issue. & it needs to be handled quickly.

    Steps to Take Action
Guard your possessions, not to mention yourself. Take cover as needed, all the while engaging your location's shut-off valves or other areas to prevent further damage – intrusion. Take photos, notes, & all else, & then use them as evidence when reaching out to your insurance supplier, right away. Move on it!

Smoke / Fire Damage – A Similar Issue That's No Less Harmful
When this is the case, see what your policy covers — that's the very first step. Then secure all personal belongings as best you can. File the “PROOF OF LOSS” claim, next, as soon as you can. Then, last but certainly not least, don't fail to keep track of your every living expense, as you can likely get reimbursed, should you go over the usual limit due to the emergency.

    Efficiency
You'll need to move like clockwork, if you want to save yourself &any remaining property you can. Your efficiency, in this respect, will be based upon your agility &overall ability to think under pressure — & then to act even faster.

    Budget
It all starts with budgeting, of course, to make sure you even have the insurance coverage you need, in the first place, for when that flood, storm, tsunami, fire, or anything else of this nature comes upon you.
