If your faucet in your bathroom's leaking, there's a way to fix it yourself. A DIY solution is one of the best around when it comes to saving some money. Here are a few tips, for before you consider getting the process going: Start with turning off the water supply entirely, right under that sink, where it applies. Close the drain connected to the sink. & to avoid it catching any valuable parts you may drop, or even water, cover it with something, such as a firm, dry rag. Tape your wrench's jaws, next, with duct tape (one layer is usually sufficient) to avoid it scratching your new sink's fixture altogether. Very important.
Get some space going around you. Remove any obstacles out of the way, including what may be in the cabinet just under the sink. Leave your parts there, that you'll need, so you can roll them out, one by one, in order of removal, as needed. Remove any mineral deposits that may remain on the faucet's parts – & one of the easiest ways to do this is by getting a soft scouring pad, together with some white, distilled vinegar. Do all this before fixing the leaky faucet.

Why does my bathroom faucet drip after I turn it off?

Even after turning it off, why does my faucet keep running?
If you are unfortunate to have experienced this, then be ready to replace your faucet’s cartridge. The first thing to do is confirm if the faucet’s handle is in a fully closed position. The common cause of this problem is worn rubber washers. If you call a plumber, they will use several tools to dismantle the faucet, fix the issue then later assembly is ready to fix it back to your sink. If your faucet keeps running after replacing the rubber washers, then replacing the whole faucet is necessary.
