Rates we charge for bath tub service calls start at:

Start at $99* for the 1st hour of each trip & $69 an hour after that (that’s for 1 employee)

Hourly rates shown above are the typical cash or check rates for repairing or installing bathtub valves, tub trim kits, shower tub combo doors & tub surrounds (not including dump disposal fees or materials). If a customer wanted to replace their whole tub or surround, this would be too cumbersome for 1 employee to handle, so we would send 2 of our employees to your home at higher rates than stated above.

We charge for the time needed for a client’s project, including providing or delivering materials or for the time to haul away left over trash. This allows us to handle small jobs for our plumbing customers, rather than only lump sum projects with much higher minimums to show up.

Thanks to our processing partner Paypal, we do accept most major credit & debit cards now! Rates are slightly higher, please call our office for all of the details.

*$99 to $119 is the first hour of work charge depending on zip code of the job location. Locations outside of our area of service will be charged additional travel costs. Some exclusions do apply, like after hours, same-day or weekend service or customers with pre-arranged billing agreements. We would be happy to answer any of your pricing inquiries, please call for details!

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time.
We have availablity after hours & on weekends for emergencies by phone.

Great Question! Edward’s Enterprises is usually available:

Office: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday by phone in our office to schedule plumbing projects & ask questions about bathroom repair service.

Field: As far as scheduling work appointments, for our typical rates listed above (I know we didn’t skip that section) we normally schedule work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm (holidays, meetings, kids with flus may affect availability).

Most plumbing projects get a 2 hour window of arrival, so expect something like 7:00am to 9:00am, or 10:00am to 12:00pm, or even 1:00pm to 3:00pm window.

We are available for emergency work based on a first come first serve system & whether or not we have a crew available. Expect to pay more for these types of calls (we have employees & overtime is what it is).

If you need us to come outside of our regular times, expect to pay a bit more, or experience different restrictions like job minimums, etc.

To check if we can handle a plumbing repair at your store, office or home, you can check a few places:

There is a helpful site menu drop down called “Cities”. Select that & you can see if your city is in our “service area”.

You can review the city list at the bottom of the page.

You can visit Our Cities Page which is really just a “Cities” list page (don’t tell the page menu, it just makes it jealous).

You can call us at 805-987-2441 & give us your “exact” coordinates.

If you don’t see your community on the list, but you’re close by give us a call. We may be able to service your plumber request for an additional travel charge and/or minimum hour charge.

Most tract home bathtubs are approximately 32 inches deep & 60 inches wide. If you are thinking about changing your tub out to a shower, there are limited options for a size match in a shower surround, but they are available.

Check out Florestone or Swanstone for some pre-fab options, or we can do a custom shower pan & surround from tile.

Removing tough stains:

Cleaning & maintaining bathtubs can sometimes be difficult if you do not have the right tools or information. A cleaning tip that is quick & easy is to simply sprinkle Borax onto bathtub stains & then wait a few minutes for it to set in. After letting it sit, wipe off the Borax & the stain will go with it!

Cleaning porcelain, fiberglass, & acrylic bathtubs:

Next off, it is important to know what type of Tub you are using, because this can affect how to properly clean it. Some of the common types of bathtubs include Porcelain, Fiberglass & Acrylic. Porcelain Tubs are best cleaned with nonabrasive powder or liquid cleaners. Fiberglass tubs are cleaned most efficiently with a commercial fiberglass cleaning product.

Soap scum & mildew treatment:

Also, a few quick things that only take a minute or two after every tub use include: wiping down the tub & faucets with a terry-cloth towel to help remove soap scum, circulate the air in the bathroom to prevent mildew growth, & to clean the bath toys after each use to rid them of potential bacteria's & mildew.
