Our hourly rates for apartment maintenance & repair projects:

Start at $99* for the first hour of each trip & $69 an hour after that (that’s for 1 employees)

These are the typical cash or check hourly rates for labor we charge our customers for apartment repair work orders (not including materials or dump disposal fees). Some projects require more than 1 employee, in which case the rate per hour would be higher to allow for the extra employees.

We charge for all time allotted to a customer’s project, including purchasing & delivering materials, or offsite work like painting lumber prior to an installation, or for the time to dispose of debris. This allows us to take on smaller projects for our client landlords, rather than only lump sum projects with much higher minimums to show up.

Thanks to our processing partner Paypal, we do accept most major credit & debit cards now! Rates are slightly higher, please call our office for all of the details.

*First hour of work charge is from $99 to $119 depending on the work site zip code. Some exclusions do apply, like commercial companies, or for same-day, after hours or weekend service. Cities outside of our coverage map will be charged additional travel costs. We would be happy to answer any of your pricing questions, please call for details!

We have availablity after hours & on weekends for emergencies by phone.

Great Question! Edward’s Enterprises is usually available:

Office: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday by phone in our office to schedule landscaping projects & ask questions about outdoor repair services.

Field: As far as scheduling work appointments, for our typical rates listed above (I know we didn’t skip that section) we normally schedule work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm (holidays, meetings, kids with flus may affect availability).

Most backyard gardening projects get a 2 hour window of arrival, so expect something like 7:00am to 9:00am, or 10:00am to 12:00pm, or even 1:00pm to 3:00pm window.

We are available for emergency yard clean up work based on a first come first serve system & whether or not we have a crew available. Expect to pay more for these types of calls (we have employees & overtime is what it is).

If you need us to come outside of our regular times, expect to pay a bit more, or experience different restrictions like job minimums, etc.

To check if we can handle a gardening or sprinkler request at your store, office or home, you can check a few places:

There is a helpful site menu drop down called “Cities”. Select that & you can see if your city is in our “service area”.

You can review the city list at the bottom of the page.

You can visit Our Cities Page which is really just a “Cities” list page (don’t tell the page menu, it just makes it jealous).

You can call us at 805-987-2441 & give us your “exact” coordinates.

If you don’t see your community on the list, but you’re close by give us a call. We may be able to service your outdoor clean up or repair request for an additional travel charge and/or minimum hour charge.

Lighting can be used to create a focal point on a specific part of the garden, water features, or illuminate walk paths & steps.

Other than replacement, landscape lighting fixtures have a fairly low need for maintenance. Landscape lights can be cleaned when they become dirty. First, use a dry cloth & wipe away any loose dirt & debris. Then, use a bucket full of water & a small amount of dish detergent to wipe off the fixtures. Finally, use clean water to rinse off the soapy mixture. If dirt is tough to get off, you can use a soft bristled brush to remove dirt from crevices & hard to reach areas. If this still does not work, then use a Magic Eraser to remove stubborn dirt & grime. Afterwards, dry the fixtures thoroughly with a clean towel.

Often people would like to know how their lighting system is controlled. The answer is a timer which is located inside the transformer controls the system. You are able to set desired on & off times & can also manually over ride the system with a simple flip of a switch. A quick tip to remember is that landscape fixtures are supposed to be replaced after an average life of 2000 hours. With this being said, it is important to monitor your lighting system & determine how often you use your lamps.
