their homes and businesses by completing their next electrical
improvements.
Simple repairs around the home, like changing a light switch or swapping
out a receptacle that is cracked and yellowed from age are
sometimes too overwhelming even for a Do-it-Yourselfer. Opening up old home
wiring, sometimes after years of wiring and rewiring to accomadate ever
changing electronic and appliance needs, can be like opening up a
multi-colored can of worms.
If cords fall out of receptacles, switches feel wobbly, don't work,
or you want to install a safe "night light" switch you can find in the

$89.00* for the
first hour (each trip, 1 employee)
$49.00* an hour after that (1 employee)
These are the
typical cash
or check hourly rates for
labor we charge our customers for electrical switch and plug
replacements
and repairs
(not including materials). Our repairs
and
installations
are charged on a time and material basis. That includes all of
the
time for your project, including sourcing materials if they are needed.
Some of these projects can be too large or high for 1 employee to easily or safely handle, so
we would send 2 of our employees to your home
at rates higher than stated above.
*Some exclusions
do apply, like
commercial companies that are billable, cities not listed in our city
coverage list above, or
for
same-day, after hours or weekend service. Call and we
would be happy to answer all of your pricing questions!

DID YOU KNOW?
* Older homes
contain outlets that may contain ungrounded wiring that could
potentially pose a safety threat. The outlet faceplate may have been
replaced and deceivingly contains the three prong face with the
grounding hole, however there is no grounding wire attached to the back
of the outlet.
* If an outlet is incorrectly wired or installed, it may create a major
safety issue that could result in a fire or serious short circuit in the entire
system.
* Old wires may have their insulation dried out and frayed. These live
wires can spark and create fires within walls where there is very
flammable materials.
